Tis the Season

It's Beginning to Look
a Lot Like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
Take a look in the five-and-ten, glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
Toys in ev'ry store,
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door.

A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots
Is the wish of Barney and Ben;
Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk
Is the hope of Janice and Jen;
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well,
The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas;
Soon the bells will start,
And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing
Right within your heart.

I live in the Capital city of a country where its name for December (joulukuu) actually translates to Christmas month.
And if you know me- You know that I love Christmas.

So the train station. This place is where I come every time I come to center. Mostly because I take the trains but that's not the point. All of us always meet at this super fancy burger king here. You can walk in and usually find the exchange students all sitting and talking. Any way, I love watching the travelers here. The hugs and the true goodbyes. Now people hustle back and forth with arms of bags from all the many shops here in town.

The city is lit

I still go to Zumba with my Äiti. I really love her and miss her . I go over and have tea often. She is always in my heart

 Christmas in Kerava.
The christmas markets and the love of the locals.
I took my banker chrismas cookies today. She's a doll.

night time snack. tea and crackerbread

french kisses

count how many nations are here. go.

My social life is mostly life at this point. That sounds interesting. Finnish friends. Foreign friends.

Every weekend with these babes

But you can tell it is christmas season. It was strange, one day it just happened. Christmas was just here. Glögi and gingerbread. The window's at stockman. The carolers. The big trees in the streets are all decorated.

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas.
