Tampere Traditions

on the road again
The New Exchange students have arrived and it is tradition to travel up to Tampere on their day off of camp. We had our, and that is where I met my oldies (my heart aches for them to come back) So any way we go. I catch the cheap bus, early Morning, with my good friend Juan. He's from spain. He's a good kid. Ya know when you meet a person and they just want to do good in life and do good things, that's him.

So we catch the two hour bus north.

this was sent to the 120 exchange student group page. thanks juan. you could tell I was sleepy

it is a really beautiful country
We went and met up with Katherine.
her title: Queen of Tampere
Title thing( I am mother of Finland) Its a pretty cool Exchange culture we have here.

She is one of my best friends here and well in total. She is a sister to me. She actually just got accepted to study in London next year! Guess who is traveling to london next year?!

first this is first. Coffee and planning of the day. Get everyone together.

We explored the city for a few hours till their bus rolled in.

hello to the family

Be confused By the hat. I can't explain it becuase you're 85% not an exchange student. Just it's important

The rest of the day was spent together. Telling stories of our year to the newbies. We helped them get things they needed like hats and gloves. They brought us candies from Austraila. Minties!

We caught the bus home. I was in bed by midnight. Pretty Exchausedted and chilled. But it was all worth it.

The new ones are going to do good here.

One thing which I remember about our oldies, was that they told us the 6 months flew by. We told the same to our.
